Broadford Park
Broadford Recreational Park is a family-oriented park owned by the Town of Oakland. The park offers many scenic picnic spots with charcoal grills, pavilions for rent, a lake with beach and swimming area, three playgrounds, beach volleyball court, basketball courts, a boat launch, and john boat, canoe, kayak, and paddle boat rentals. Join us at every year for an Independence Day Celebration on July 3rd with a patriotic concert band performance and a fireworks display after dark. Enjoy a day of relaxation with your family.

Over 3 miles of multi-use trail system provides anyone walking, hiking, jogging, running, biking, birding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing access in the outdoors. This system provides primarily single-track trail experience with decreased barrier for entry to trail users seeking a beginner to intermediate level trail experience while providing room for progressive development of skills. The Trail system was designed with modern mountain bike use in mind, taking care to embrace a flowing trail experience through thoughtful design, curvilinear alignments, gradual changes in trail user speed, technical trail features or alternative line choices, and techniques such as tread in-sloping of constructed features such as rollers, brollers, and bermed turns.
-
In addition to the mountain biking trail system's miles of trails that are accessible for walking and running, the park also features a 1 mile paved walking loop.
